[:en]Among thousands of pilgrims that come to the Divine Eternal Father Pilgrimage, in Trindade (Goiás), many of them have something to say about the graces received. These are people who go through difficulties, problems and seek the Divine Eternal Father since they find the strength to move forward and overcome all evil.

Itamar Batista Figueiredo, 62 years and retired, is an example of strength and gratitude. One more time, he left Goiânia on foot carrying a wooden cross on his shoulders. He walked through the Pilgrimage highway  up to the Sanctuary Basilica with the purpose of thanking the Eternal Father for the cure of malignant and aggressive cancer that imperilled the health of his wife.

“I have been doing this for nine years. It is a journey in which my family is always beside me and supports me very much. The feeling of leaving the cross in the room of miracles is to know that it has been one more year since my wife received the cure. It is the best feeling in my life. Each year is a victory. We are grateful because we have been being devotees of the Divine Eternal Father and I embraced this cause. He gave this victory, not only to me, but also to my wife, my grandchildren and children. Gratitude is unforgettable and it is lifelong,” said Itamar.

The Pilgrim, Maria Borges de Paula, also have much faith in the Eternal Faith. At the age 89, she comes every year from Alpinópolis (MG), with family especially for the Traditional Feast in praise to the Divine Eternal Father. “My husband, before passing away, made vows to the Eternal Father and built a house in Trindade for ourfamily to stay during the Feast,” she said.

Her niece, Márcia Borges, Brasília (DF), said aunt Maria Borges is the religious reference in the family. “She has a lot of strength, faith and manages to move and gather all of us here in Trindade. People come from three different cities and we stay here during the ten days of the event. She taught us faith and love to the Eternal Father,” she said.

Another example of faithful devotion to the Eternal Father is Roselita Mendanha, athe 87-year-old retired woman. She is from Itaberaí (GO), and come every day of the Pilgrimage to attend the Novena at Mother Church of Trindade. “I was not seeing anything. I had to get a cataract surgery. I was extremely scared, but I left everything in the hands of the Eternal Father.  Thank him! It all worked out! Now, I am here as a proof of gratitude , ” she said.[:es]Entre los miles de peregrinos que pasan por la Peregrinación del Divino Padre Eterno en Trindade (Goiás), muchos tienen testimonios de gracias alcanzadas. Son personas que pasan por dificultades y problemas, y recurren al Divino Padre Eterno en quien encuentran la fuerza para seguir adelante y superar todo mal.

Un ejemplo de fortaleza y gratitud es del jubilado Itamar Batista Figueiredo de 62 años. Un año más él salió a pie desde Goiânia con una cruz de madera sobre sus hombros y siguió la carretera de los peregrinos hacia Santuario de la Basílica. Su propósito es en agradecimiento al Padre Eterno por la cura de un cáncer maligno y agresivo que debilitó la salud de su esposa.

“Ya son nueve años que hago este camino. Es un caminata donde mi familia siempre está a mi lado y me da mucha fuerza. La sensación de dejar la cruz en la sala de los milagros, es de saber que completó otro año en que mi esposa fue curada. Es la mejor sensación que tengo en la vida. Cada año es una victoria. Estamos agradecidos, porque durante toda la vida fuimos devotos al Divino Padre Eterno y yo abracé esa causa. Él dio esta victoria, no sólo para mí, sino para mi esposa, mis nietos e hijos. La gratitud es inolvidable y es para el resto de mi vida”, dijo Itamar.

Quien también tiene mucha fe en el Padre Eterno es la peregrina Maria Borges de Paula de 89 años. Ella viene todos los años desde Alpinópolis (MG) con su familia, especialmente para la Tradicional Fiesta en Alabanza al Divino Padre Eterno. “Mi esposo antes de fallecer, hizo los votos con el Padre Eterno y construyó una casa en Trindade para que la familia se hospedara para la Fiesta”, dijo.

Su sobrina, Márcia Borges de Brasilia (DF) dijo que su tía es la referencia religiosa en la familia. “Ella tiene mucha fuerza, fe y logra mover y reunir a todos nosotros aquí en Trindade. Viene gente de tres ciudades diferentes y nos quedamos los diez días. Ella nos enseñó la fe y el amor al Padre Eterno”, dijo.

Otro ejemplo de devoción fiel al Padre Eterno es la jubilada Roselita Mendanha de 87 años. Ella es de Itaberaí (GO) y viene todos los días de la peregrinación para asistir a la novena en la iglesia matriz de Trindade. “Yo no estaba viendo nada. Tuve que hacerme una cirugía de catarata. Estaba muy asustada, pero entregue todo en las manos del Padre Eterno, y gracias a Él todo salió bien, y estoy aquí para agradecerle mucho”, dijo.[:]
