[:en]The New Sanctuary of the Divine Eternal Father is being built in Trindade (GO) and the work there is intense. At the construction site, the workers dedicate themselves every day to the construction of the new church. At each stage, the work progresses and one more step to complete the structure is taken. Currently, the professionals are divided into areas and are dedicated to the paving and concreting of one more slab.

“Due to the proportion of the construction, we work divided into sectors and each one of them is at a different phase. One of the sectors is working with the assembly of the frame to the slab and beam. The slab that is at the final stage and in the next few days we will pour the concrete slab,” explained the civil engineer, Luiz Rossi Neto.

The New Father’s House was designed in the form of a cross. Crews are distributed by areas and each one is dedicated to a part of the work. “We are working on the paving. On the other hand, we already poured the concrete slab. The professionals who work in this part are metal fabricators, carpenters and masons. They prepare the structure that will soon receive the concrete. The role of such structure that is being built is to support the concrete until it acquires the necessary resistance. After that, the whole structure can be removed,” pointed out the engineer.

João da Cruz Souza is one of the metal frabicators working on the construction. To him, each work day ends with the feeling of a fulfilled duty. “My role here at work is to make the frame of the slab. I am also in charge of constructing beams and pillars. It is a tough job, but it becomes easier with daily routine and practice that I already have. It is hard but it is part of life. I had no previous experience with that part, but I am enjoying it. It does not scare me because I have worked in other big constructions like damns, for example,” said João.

Jalles Eustáquio Mendes Gabriel is the occupational safety technician in charge of ensuring the correct usage of all the equipment that prevent accidents at the construction site. “I am part of the team responsible for ensuring the use of individual safety equipment, so that the workers return home safe and sound. No one here works without protection, we make sure they use the equipment all the time at work,” he said.

After ten months working on this project, he claims that the accident rate at the location is zero. “We are a team composed of four occupational safety technicians, an safety engineer and other production engineers, who give us the support  to perform every type of activity without any type of accident. It has been a great experience to be able to participate in this step. When the church is ready, I intend to be able to visit, participate and tell people that I took part in a stage of the construction of our New Basilica,” concluded Jalles.[:es]El Nuevo Santuario del Divino Padre Eterno está en construcción en Trindade (GO), y allí el trabajo es intenso. En la obra, los obreros se dedican diariamente a la edificación de la nueva iglesia. A cada fase, la obra avanza y una etapa más de la estructura es completada. Actualmente, los profesionales están distribuidos por áreas y se dedican a la pavimentación y hormigonado de la losa.

“Debido a la magnitud de nuestra obra, ella es trabajada por sectores y cada uno de ellos se encuentra en una fase. Uno de los sectores está trabajando con el montaje del armazón para la losa y la viga. Es una losa que está en la etapa final y en los próximos días será hormigonada”, explicó el ingeniero civil, Luis Rossi Nieto.

El proyecto de la Nueva Casa del Padre fue elaborado en forma de cruz. Los equipos de obreros están distribuidas por áreas y cada uno se dedica a una parte de la obra. “Estamos trabajando en la pavimentación. En el otro lado, ya terminamos la losa. Los profesionales que trabajan en el pavimento son el armador, el carpintero y los ayudantes. Ellos hacen la preparación de la estructura que recibirá el concreto en los próximos días. La función de toda esta estructura consiste en sostener el concreto hasta que se adquiera la resistencia necesaria para que después la estructura sea retirada”, indico el ingeniero.

Uno de los armadores que trabajan en la obra es João da Cruz Souza. Para él, cada día de trabajo termina con la sensación del deber cumplido. “Mi papel aquí en la obra es hacer el armazón con los herrajes de la losa. Hago la viga, los pilares. Es un trabajo difícil, pero en el día a día con la práctica que ya tengo, no se hace tan difícil. Es pesado, pero hace parte de la vida. Yo no tenía experiencia con esa parte, pero me estoy sintiendo muy bien, y también no me asusta, porque soy un obrero que ha enfrentado varias obras pesadas, como de hidroeléctrica por ejemplo”, contó.

Ya Jalles Eustaquio Mendes Gabriel es técnico en seguridad de trabajo y es uno de los responsables en garantizar el uso de todos los equipos de seguridad para que se eviten accidentes dentro del lugar de la obra. “Soy del equipo responsable de ofrecer y verificar el uso de todo el equipo de seguridad individual de los trabajadores, para que puedan regresar a su casa de la misma forma que entraron en la obra. Aquí nadie trabaja sin protección, nosotros revisamos el uso de los equipos dentro de todo el horario de trabajo”, comentó.

Trabajando en la obra desde hace diez meses, él afirma que la tasa de accidentes en el lugar es cero. “Tenemos un equipo de cuatro técnicos y un ingeniero de seguridad, más los demás ingenieros de producción que nos ayudan para que podamos realizar todo tipo de actividad sin ningún tipo de accidente. Para mí, personalmente y profesionalmente, es muy bueno poder participar de esta etapa. La intención en el futuro cuando la iglesia esté lista, es poder participar, visitar y comentar que hice parte de una etapa de nuestra nueva Basílica”, concluyó el técnico.
